It’s hard to believe just how quickly this year is passing by on the whole, and that the departure date for our Tour is just one week away. This time next week, we will be about to board the final leg of our journey in a short flight between Saigon and Siem Reap.

A few logistical notes before departure (and some last minute jobs for this weekend!):
- Each student has a 23kg baggage allowance, please check before arriving at the airport
- All medications must be packed in carry-on luggage, in the original packaging, and the ‘Administration of Medication’ form should have been returned to the Health Centre (medications will be handed to teachers upon arrival at the hotel)
- We have been informed, in addition to the standard travel advice, that cases of dengue fever have increased in Siem Reap this year. This is not a cause for too much concern, so long as precautions are taken, including: using a tropical strength insect repellant during the day (the dengue mosquito is a daytime insect), and wearing light coloured, long, loose clothing. - It is a good idea to pack some healthy snacks in your suitcase for peckish times, such as muesli bars (no nuts, please)
